Was bred and raised by the Castle Ranch.
He started his show career as 3 year old after being purchased by Roger Williams of Lexington, OK.
In a short time he had huge accomplishment in the show pen.

3rd at APHA World Show (with limited fitting) He actually tied for reserve WC but the tie breaker judge saw it differently.
APHA Congress Champion (Overcoming the APHA Res WC that he showed with a few weeks prior)
He earned 96 APHA Halter Points, many grands and reserves.

By the age of 4 he retired from showing and became a breeding stallion.
Just as he was successful in the show pen, he went on to become a successful sire! Never being bred to top mares like some stallions, his foal's accomplishments were impressive. His foals were kind, smart, easy to train and loved people.
He out produced himself with many different types of mares.
He produced 13 foals that were 17 hands tall. His foals grew to be very tall, then they filled out.
In 2006 was 6th on the APHA Leading Halter Sires list with only a few foals showing.
He was the Sire of "Excitement" 5X APHA World Champion & earner of the prestigious "Scarlet Print Award"
"Go Lucky Tradition" produced a total of 20 World & Reserve World Champions. His get showed in APHA, PtHA, and ABRA,
He produced a beautiful filly we called Luckys Lexus.
She was orphaned at nine weeks of age.
She went on to become the 2009 European World Champion Yearling Filly (Unanimous under all judges)

We attribute much of "Go Lucky Tradition's" Success as a sire to his dam.
Lucky is retired from breeding after getting colitis in 2016.
He is gracefully living out his life at Lucky Hills Ranch and is
almost 27 years of age.
